Overview:
Some Arctic Wolf Managed Security Awareness (MA) sessions require Safari to allow media to autoplay. By default, Safari blocks autoplay for many sites. Follow the steps below to enable autoplay for MA session sites.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open Safari on your Mac.
Go to the Arctic Wolf MA session site.
Example:
https://arcticwolfawareness.comOr open any link provided by your IT team for security training.
Access Site Settings:
While on the site, click Safari in the menu bar.
Select Settings for This Website...
Enable Media Autoplay:
Find the Auto-Play dropdown.
Change from Stop Media with Sound (default) to Allow All Auto-Play.
Repeat for each required site:
If your training uses additional domains, repeat the above steps for each (e.g.,
arcticwolf.com,microsoftstream.com, etc.).
Tip:
To enable autoplay for all websites:
Go to Safari > Settings (or Preferences) > Websites > Auto-Play.
At the bottom, set “When visiting other websites” to Allow All Auto-Play.

Q: Can IT configure this for me automatically?
A: No, Apple does not permit MDM or automated settings for site-specific autoplay in Safari. This must be done by each user.
Q: What happens if I forget?
A: If media won’t play automatically during a session, repeat the steps above to allow autoplay for the training site.
